It's true, these prayer wheels have a special meaning for the Nepalese people and when we are in their environment we want to respect their tradition and religion. I may be wrong, but I think you need to keep the wheel to your right shoulder and spin it from right to left. Is that true? I did see some sherpas who were spinning the wheel from left to right. Anyway, I don't remember which way is correct.

Re: Nice!I'm thinking about, Marc...and yes, as you say, i'm remembering that it needs to spin the wheel from right to left, as the clock's pointers run. I think it'a good way to respect those nice people.
