Thank you, Andrej! Some of my pictures are vivid because of the newly discovered HDR technique, which I'm fond of. So, I'm often exaggerating with colours, he, he.
I'm not sure, though, that I like the black frames around your otherwise excellent pictures. They always remind me of obituaries.

Re: Fine
Yes, that's my concern too. I am posting (rarely) pictures also to some photographic forums, and I sometimes get positive, sometimes negative feedback. I strongly believe that some kind of a frame is fine - it focuses your attention into photo content, delimeting what is in and what is the surrounding. I was also experimenting with frames of other colours, but finally returned back to the 'neutral' black. In times of SP upgrade I was very flattered, when Josh immediately accepted my suggestion to do a gray frame on the SP picture template :)
It always depends on taste - and we all have different ones. In that respect I'm a purist and don't like frames - or any other addition like the copyright notices too much.
On a completely different note: I'll be in Kranjska Gora for three weeks in September to find out if the Julians are really as beautiful as you make them. Maybe we can meet somewhere sometime during that period?
Excellent work, Vid. It is nice to see you developing the Niedere Tauern range. This winter didn't bring me to any prominent peak, but the western part is very, very attractive to me. I like the overview photos - looking to East, North-East and North-West.

Re: excellentYes, this winter was poor with ski opportunities. Still, I hope for one more this weekend - perhaps we'll go on Koelnbreinspitze.
