Preparing the highcamp in...
Preparing the highcamp in 1992. Note the grave. This spot is very exposed and we spent the night before our summit attempt with our feet in the air holding up the tent. There are no sheltered sites. and no large rocks to build walls. So you must dig in which is sometimes difficult as the area is usually frozen.
