The southern terminus of Junction Road lacks a sign but the directions were spot on otherwise. The trail through the woods has been maintained by a moose (copious droppings) although I didn't spot the mailbox register or any surveyor's tape whilst traipsing through the area.
We weren't able to find the marker yesterday. So today we went back with local help. Trip report to follow with directions and gps coordinates.
I didn't bother due to heavy rains.
We were over to visit family but I got the family to go walking in the snow to the kids first highpoint! They liked the adventure and it wasn't to cold for late December.
Well, not the best HP in the world, but it will do.
Took just a little effort to find. Nothing too spectacular at summit itself but the drive to it from anywhere on island is a treat all its own.
