Puff (Not) the Magic Dragon

Puff (Not) the Magic Dragon

Puffer Meadows (9,680') and Lake Peak, seen in the dead of summer where the mosquitoes were buzzing, the trout were jumping and the snow was disappearing from most of the higher peaks to the north. "A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys .. Painted wings and giant rings make way for other toys. One gray night it happened, Jackie paper came no more; And puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless ROAR ..." July 29, 2011

Re: This one

I thought the SAME thing when I first laid eyes upon the place earlier this Summer.

But, I looked at all the images on the "Lake Peak" page, and decided it needed a contribution of less SNOW instead of more.

I used to have a "fixation" for SNOW as a
kid, but as I go through the years, I find
that more SNOW is not always MORE fun.

I was very impressed at how GREEN Utah was
this year, but I haven't been to Arches or
Capitol Reef - I'm assuming THEY are always
MORE red than green ..

I predict the Apocalypse will be coming
soon, and a major battle will be between
those who can't DECIDE whether or not they
APRECIATE red or green ..

But, I'm an advocate for Free Choice, so
whatever FLOATS your BOAT is okay by ME.
