Puu Wekiu crater
A panorama of the highest crater Puu Wekiu. At left is Puu Poliahu (13,631 ft). Right of center with the observatories is Puu Kea (13,760+ ft). At right is the highest point in Hawaii and the top of the largest mountain in the world (13,796 feet above sea level; 30,000+ feet above its base). And to think 500000 years ago it was 3500 feet taller than it is today. March 5, 2007.
