Pyramid Lake

Pyramid Lake is a figure eight shaped lake found in the basin below the hanging basin that holds Ball Lakes. The west portion near the slope is deep, while the east end (near in this view) is quite shallow. There are several good campsites here and its a very close and easy hike from the trailhead. Nice place, but it can get crowded. October 2010
