I'm at a bit of a QUANDARY! I don't know whether or not to give it a vote, OR take the next FLIGHT to Colorado so I can climb it.

It is a good hike but only if you start very early. It gets too crowded later in the day. We only shared it with another couple with a dog, but "the hords" (over 100 people!) showed up when we were descending.

Sounds just like what

OTHER SP members have experienced on Lassen Peak in California. Yes, you are right! The SECRET is getting up early, so you can OVERCOME the crowds. Especially in July! Thanks & take care. (Your photos are muy bonita - VERY AWESOME ... and beautiful.)
