great fishing at saddlebag lake, tioga pass res. near yosemite rainbow trout this is just a great place to go fishing in early summer when the road is still closed for cars..it is about a 2.5 mile hike from the campground..

up there. Were you fishing off the bottom ???

no not off the bottom, we were fishing with flies and bubbles...the thing was: the road was closes up to that tim early june and so as you probably know, you have to hike up there about 3 miles most people who fish do not like that. so only a few anglers have been up there by that time of the year.... in july it is real crowded up there..eike
