Ocean to Peak Adventures: 2022 Mountain Summit Challenge
This was my fifth summit in a challenge. For the first two miles it was quite dry, and the top had plenty of snow. It was extremely windy toward the top. I did not wear snowshoes or snow spikes.

Snowshoe
Snowshoe up and down, windy at the summit. Someone left us a beer in the summit register!

From Hwy 50
Warmup climb. Drove in the short 4x4 road to the trailhead sign.
Easy up and down. The best views are only just when you summit. On the way up we met a fellow pushing a bicycle uphill in the wilderness. We talked a while and he turned around,

Hello snow
Did this while getting over a cold, not the best idea... but we made it! There was some fairly deep snow toward the top, and some ice lower down in the shade. Great views all around.

Ridge Traverse from Echo Lakes
From Echo Lakes - Becker, Talking Mtn, Pk 9155 and Ralston, returned via the PCT. Traverse was a big slower going than I expected, was hoping to tag Cracked Crag too but ran out of time.

Nice day
I wasn't sure if it was the best idea, but a friend of mine and I hiked this today even though I ran a very tough trail half marathon yesterday, but I survived. We did it in about 5.5 hours car to car.
Since 2010, I have climbed this mountain at least 5 times that I can count. I know the scenery well...it is not very difficult to climb, and has beautiful views on the summit.
