The second one from the right

looks like a giant termite's nest!

Did anybody claim they had climbed these peaks?

Re: The second one from the right

I've recently done them all except for the termite's nest (12700). The one on the left (12825) has a very gentle side. The second from the left (12566) and the one on the right (12338) were challenging but doable. I would love to hear if some one has climbed 12700 or has even attempted it.

Pretty sweet!

Lots of nice mountain elements in natural harmony. I think one of your best lately Zee.

Re: Pretty sweet!

I was going to say something very similar. Sky, mountain, rock, grass, and wood all reflected in the water. Very well done.

Thanks WWBf! I used to hike a lot in New England and I am well aquainted with black flies BTW.

Thanks, I just looked at it in black and white, and it did look interesting.

Congratulations!

I knew it would become Photo of the Day, it oozed that Photo of the Day "smell" for me right from the first moment I saw it! I would like to see your husband's face now, or let's say, coming Sunday, if it turns out to be Photo of the Week! ;-)

Beautiful photo,

great scenery, very nice colours, the kind of place you would want to be. A well-deserved POD!
