Climbed with Colin and Izzy before moving on to Bearhead and Ellsworth. It was a leisurely stroll from Lubec Lake to Firebrand Pass with huckleberries and thimbleberries abound! Believe it or not, there was a crow waiting for us on the summit!!!

Red Crow
Started off by climbing the Appistoki Saddle en route to Mount Ellsworth. From there, we followed the Continental Divide from Bearhead Mountain to Red Crow. Great summit views of Jackstraw Lake and the wild Ole Creek drainage. A spectacular day in the park!
Also climbed via Lena Lake route on September 18, 2012. Cloudless days and little wind (especially for that area of GNP) made for a very enjoyable outing.
Solo outing on September 9, 2020. Climbed the NE ridge of Calf Robe from the Firebrand Pass Trail. Took the rapid scree descent down to Firebrand Pass and continued on the Continental Divide to the summit of Red Crow. Followed the Divide northward to the next saddle, and followed a glorious game trail down to Lena Lake for a dip! I located an extremely well-traveled trail that led me up and out of the Lena Lake basin to the open south slope of Red Crow. This area was littered with whitebark pines and the trail faded out. Very easy cross country travel back to the Firebrand Pass Trail. Huckleberries were in full force along the open slopes of the trail!

Red Crow
With Frank Weslovski and Brian Kennedy & Jennie Jacobs from the Two Med Grill in E. Glacier. Also did Dancing Lady, Bearhead, and Calf Robe.
Climbed after summitting Calf Robe. We then dropped down to the saddle to the north and descended to Lena Lake and traversed back to the Firebrand Pass trail. There is a spectacular trail leading from this saddle all the way to Lena Lake. Climbed with Vantana and C. R. Vaughan.

Red Crow Mountain
Decided to climb this one instead of Calf Robe. Spectacular views at the summit and did some rebuilding on the summit cairn. Beautiful day everything was great until we got back to civilization. Climbed with Rebelgrizz and JFK.
