"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

South SlopeClimbed with five great friends (including SPers RoryKurkendall and ManyGlacierMountineer) on a beautiful July day. Made our way from the Oldman Lake Trail cross country to near the unnamed tarn south of Red Mountain. Made our way up from there, eventually angling west and utilizing a prominent ramp that led to a notch just east of the summit block. Incredible views and one carefully, exposed move from the notch provided access to summit. Returned via the south slope, via a slightly different route. 10+ hours round-trip.
