First trip to the San Juans. 5.5 hour round trip. Extremely windy on the ridge and weather was unstable from start of hike.

Best time ever  Sucess!

Thanks to my dog giving me a minor assist up some of the steeper stuff, we made a very fast ascent. Great views and lots of fun getting two for one with Sunshine as well.

#20  Sucess!

I loved these two peaks. Silver Creek really did look like it had flakes of silver in it. A nice trail, easy to the top!

Fast Ascent  Sucess!

Started at 5:00 am and was on the summit by 8:15. Not too bad for two flatlanders. Did the ridge to Sunshine and descended the northwest slope. Nice 10-mile day.

Redcloud-Sunsine Duo  Sucess!

Enjoyed perfect weather on the ascent to Redcloud...the summit had a cool look due to all the surrounding red dirt and rocks. This one was my 19th 14er...

Silver Creek TH  Sucess!

I went up the standard route, then over to Sunshine peak, all in all it was a pretty good day. The ridge was a little longer than I had thought, looking at it from Redcloud makes Sunshine seem so close.

1st Colo 14er  Sucess!

This was my 1st Colorado 14er. Hiked it feeling pretty miserable with a fever. Wasn't able to continue on to Sunshine because of being sick and threatening weather. Beautiful hike in. Gorgeous views from the top! Thanks, Paul. : )
