Excellent way to test yourself or train for something big. The amount of height gain is unequalled in Ireland and you need to set a good pace to get it down in a reasonable time.
Weather can make it challenging. I was on it in a rough day with pissing rain and gusting wind, we had to bail off. It really isn't fun when the wind is strong.

Got as far as Cruach Mhor, turned back on the arete between Cruach Mhor & Big Gun. Winter conditions.
