In June, the plant Rhododendron kotschyi is flowering all over the high terrain in Retezat. This photo was taken in the Bucura basin. In the background is the jagged ridge section called Poarta Bucurei (Bucura gate), with Judele and Turnu Porţii on the left. (Retezat Mountains, 16/Jun/2008)
