Very limited snow despite the time of year, my buddy and I were on a California road trip and this peak got our attention as we drove into June Lake area to find a campsite for the night. Fun class 3 summit rocks and a cool cave to climb through before reaching the peak!
Short but steep up through the high desert chaparral, then to some really cool rocks and finally the summit, with a good view of Mono lake, and the MUCH higher surrounding peaks.

Reversed Pk Loop Trail
Off Northshore Dr, followed Loop trail to Reversed Pk Trail, on south side of mountain. Acclimatization hike for Haeckle w/ Rico.

Surprisingly scenic
Quick afternoon hike after riding at Mammoth in the morning. Nice views. Some fun scrambling at the summit.

Trail
Took the trail all the way to the top. Expected snow cover, and we started in flurries, but the only real snow was on the summit ridge. Class 3 summit rocks.

hangover cure
hiked up the long route from the south end of the mountain. Nice day-after June Lake Brew Fest outing. Fresh snow on the White Mtns and clear fall air made this a very scenic trip.

From the east
A sunrise climb with nice views. There's a use trail from the south near Gull Lake leading to the summit. Trip Report.
