Nice pic

Is it 5.8 to pull that roof crack? That looks like fun. I heard the grades there are stiff. How did you find them?

Re: Nice pic

Alot of routes are short less than 60ft. However some are very constant this is one of them. The beta on the roof is face climb under it to the corner. Than under cling the outside corner and walk your feet up to a ledge at the bottom of the roof, good rest there. Than is just about 30 feet of Offwidth to the anchors.

Re: Nice pic

The idea as I recall is to launch upward from the right end of the ceiling from good hands in front of your face, As you are hopping up, take your left hand up in the crack and sort of layback it.. It's the transition from regular pull up to quick labyback that is tricky.

Re: Nice pic

That does look pretty stiff for a 5.8. Excellent shot.
