Do you know......the peak to the left or anything about it? I think I'm going to climb Grapevine Nipple in a couple of weeks, and the way over to that other peak looks interesting, something for me to explore while my wife heads back to the car.

Re: Do you know...From Grapevine Nipple (which is a high point with 2 summits) you can descend north to a saddle and traverse west than south to your suggested peak (6,400+') at about a mile from Grapevine Nipple.
I suspect that it has more impressive views of the Red Pass Titus Canyon area than Grapevine Nipple.

Re: Do you know...I did get up that peak and just posted a page: http://www.summitpost.org/leadfield-peak/799468.
I got there via Red Pass but on the descent found what I think is an easier way for both it and Grpevine Nipple. No ups and downs.

Re: Do you know...Thanks Bob. Did you get up Grapevine Nipple? When I have more time I will add your variation on the route to the page. I wanted to climb Red Pass Peak first and easily went around the right side of the Volcanic Pinnacle.

Re: Do you know...I got up GN and 6710T as well. At first, I tried going straight over the Pinnacle, but I was on a pretty exposed spot and decided to try going left. That wound up being more tedious than I expected due to the steepness of the slope, and it took me lower than I would have gone by going right.

Re: Do you know...Thanks. You're welcome to sign the log on GN. Before your initial message I wondered if anyone would EVER bag it! :)
