My first ice climb in vail area. We were planning to do also the fang, which did not form this year. However designator was a nice and pumpy climb.

Lead left side in the worse cauliflower conditions I've seen. Akward and a little strenous. Left side is def. a little harder then the right.

I've been on this thing a few times now. Lead it recently. It was so hacked out that it was overhanging.

Lead it. 20 ft. from the top got extremely pumped. Had to bail off to be safe. Next time I'll get it! This climb is long and a very exhausting one to lead. Such s classic though.

Lots of rope strech and the knot in a tricky spot added extra challenges.

Ben lead it, Eric and I top-roped it(tricky). Longest vertical ice I've been on yet. Love the burn! Def. a classic.
