South Kaibab RT
Perfect day with a little snow near the top of the North Kaibab trail. Refilled water at the Ranch both ways, finished during daylight. Struggled during the climb out puking twice like the guy on the sign and couldn't keep anything down making it a grueling climb out. Solo run/hike. 12 hours.

Rim to Ream!
What a perfect day for me and Tommey to attack this beastly hike. Twenty hours of hike, jog, run, stub a toe....fascinating! So many people! Not cool about the mountain lion episode at midnight on our way back up to South Kaibab though. Pretty sure that I never need to do THIS one again!

South Kaibab to North Kaibab back to South Kaibab. Total time 17 hours.

From Bright Angel Trailhead to North Kaibab Trailhead and back to South Kaibab Trailhead. My 4th R2R2R 15 hours and 5 minutes. The last 5 miles did not feel like fun anymore. By the time I reached the Tonto Plateau on South Kaibab, it got dark. It was nice to be in the canyon while dark, but being so far down from the top (4.5 miles) and so tired, I wasn't enjoying it anymore. Anyway, I wanted to do all the South Rim start combination and I did. Now I'll have to see when/ how I can do a R2R2R starting at the North Rim, if ever.

I don't think anyone else likes to sign this log. This was my 3rd RRR: South Kaibab trailhead to North Kaibab trailhead and back. Total hinking time 14 hours and 30 minutes for the 42 miles. I will be back for more.

Down South Kaibab, up North Kaibab, down North Kaibab, up Bright Angel. 45 miles and 24 hours car to car. A really painful, successful experience. I will be back for more.
