Craggy Dome and Craggy Gardens

In the first week of November 2013 we woke up early to make our way north on the Blue Ridge Parkway from Sevierville. A bitter cold morning we were surprised to see frost and snow as we approached Craggy Dome. Only the western side of Craggy Dome wore the veil of white frost as though a bride standing tall with veil trailing behind.
