Came in from Slate Pass and an unmaintained trail. Bushwacked to saddle between Robinson and Devil and followed the ridge up.
I wouldn't call it a "classic scramble," but this is a short, non-chossy, fun peak by Pasayten standards. Good views, though they were somewhat obscured for me on a partly-cloudy day. Trip report.
One day ascent with Heather. My 49th Bulger peak.
besides a group of kids/counselor down on the main trail, I was quite alone for most of the trip. Purple soil, lovely basin with tarn, not much flat space for camping. christened my bivy bag on this trip.
Did this one on a Stefan trip. Getting over Washington Pass in a blizzard at mid-night was the most dangerous part.
An enjoyable alpine scramble. Nine hours round trip from the car.
