Rock Hopping

Rock Hopping

An Ornate Tree Lizard (Urosaurus ornatus) on the move at the Aguirre Springs Recreation Area in New Mexico's Organ Mountains. Despite the name, these lizards are seen much more in rocky habitats than in trees. Photo taken 2/25/07.

can't y'all see...

... the little fishing lines holding the lizard in place?
Seriously, AWEsome shot! I love Aguirre Springs, too, especially the big alligator juniper at the halfway point.
