With Butterfly and Gold Hill  Sucess!

Fun day and Rock Point was the highlight. I used a rope and aid to climb the northwest corner of the summit boulder. Did not find a register. Spent about 90 minutes on the summit. Trip report

HPS Route  Sucess!

Tried to follow the HPS route up but it didn't make much sense so I ended up going cross country and finally finding the trail. Went down to the water tank and walked the roads back to my car. Summit block was fun with great holds.

Alternate route  Sucess!

3 day HPS sweep with Bob Burd. Peak #13 of 18, first on the last day. Quick hike from the water tank -- awesome bouldering finish. The peak bagging only went down hill after this one.

Butterfly Peak & Rock Point Festivus  Sucess!

If you're going to bag Butterfly, you may as well bag this rewarding scramble as well. The summit boulder is cool, but I usually chicken out on class 5 with no shoes. The other summit boulders were enough to tickle my fancy. Weather was killah!

Quick & Easy Fun!  Sucess!

Beautiful day for an autumn jaunt through the Desert Divide - love it! This peak is quick and easy to get to with rewards of bouldering along the way AND on top. Cheese Nips can just go crawl in the cave to sign the summit register....we're climbin' it!
