Fog and rain, no views.
Nice New Year's Day hike! Great weather and easygoing trail all the way up, about 100' of class 2 to the top.
Nice moderate hike, saw a coyote catch a rodent in a meadow below the peak. Pretty busy on the trail
Quick trail run on a cloudy Sunday morning.
First peak of the day. Nice views all around from the summit. Continued on to McAuley, Saddle Peak, Calabasas, and Temescal (with drives in between each) to finish up the LPC peaks in the area.
Nice in the winter.
Cool hike, definitely a peak to do in winter not only for the cooler weather, but the clear air will give you awesome views.
A side trip mid trail "run" of the ROcky Peak trail fireroad. Wonderful cloudy and cool day with JQ.
Windy conditions meant great views, from downtown LA to Channel Islands.
It was a pretty hot day, and summited this one, before I knew their were lists.
I grew up not ten miles from the summit but never visited it when I lived there. Beautiful views, did this one along with Simi Peak in the afternoon, easy LPC peakbagging. Trip Report
I don't remember the date but hiked this one back in college with a good friend of mine.
Finally had the chance to get to this beautiful peak. Loved the Joshua Tree like rocks. Fun scrambling around, awesome views. A good return to my Lower Peaks List pursuits.
If it wasnt smoggy it would have been a beautiful view. The beginning is a steep ascent hitting from what ive heard is a thousand feet. The trail down has a few suprises. This is a must do for a ventura county hiker.
Hiked from the south and the west and in the rain and the heat. Rainy days are the best and days just after the rain stops.
Hiked and climbed here alot.
