Route Climbed: Road from LP-22 Date Climbed: March 1st 2005
Having been chased down Piedra Llana by thick fog we intended to leave the caldera rim when finally the clouds opened up and showed a big patch of blue sky exactly as we were driving by the closed road to los Muchaachos. Parked our car and hastened up in perfect weather. Found a stonehenge like rock circle on the summit (natural though). Everything was covered in a thick rime cover.

Hiking El BastónThe El Bastón long distance trail passes the rocks. Climbing them wasn't permitted, so I just walked around them.
