Scrambling this route: safetyThis approximation is fairly accurate. In this area there are several gullies, chimneys and steps that will lead to the summit ridge. Be forewarned, there is a lot of loose scree, breakable holds, insecure boulders and fourth class movements. A helmet is not unreasonable with multiple scramblers or parties in the area. Avoid climbing directly above one-another.

Scrambling this route: safetyIt should also be noted that upon reaching the ridge denoted in the photo as the "top" there have in the past (I've climbed Ross twice) been summit cairns leading through some portions that although I don't feel need explanation can be tricky.
