Maximiliansteig  Sucess!

Started from Weißlahnbad, climbed Bärenloch to Tierser Alpl. Then took Maximiliansteig across Roßzähne and hiked to Schlernhäuser. Returned through the wonderful Bärenfalle (but bad for the knees).

Via Ferrata "Maximillian"  Sucess!

Climbed from Rifugio Alpe di Tires over "via ferrata" with four friends.
It was part of a four day trip through the whole Rosengarten/Catinaccio Group.
Clear weather without any snow, ice or difficulty.
Wonderful panoramic view with some photos taken.
Nice and easy climb. Perfect Autumn Day.

Route Climbed: Maximiliansteig Date Climbed: August 13th, 1998  Sucess!

We did a Bike & Hike combination, which we highly recommend. Started on Kompatsch and biked over Seiser Alm to Molignonhaus and a bit beyond. Then we hiked to Tierser-Alpl Huette, ascended Grosser Rosszahn and continued by the Maximiliansteig over the whole ridge to Roterdspitze (2655m, highest point). From there we walked over the broad Schlern plateau to the Petz summit and returned south of Roterdspitze to Tierser-Alpl Huette and down to bikes. Then we biked further eastwards and over Seiser Alm back to Compatsch.
