Rothenfels
Friday, the 2nd october 2009, I was on the top of the Rothenfels ! I succeed my ascent, with many difficulties, but I had succeed : here is the most important thing ! I saw a remarkable wild flora and I was totally crazy, with the panorama : the city of Annweiler was at my foots and the very high summits of this city were visible (examples : Rehberg which is the highest of all with 576 meters, Hohenberg with 556 m, Trifels with 497 m, Scharfenberg with 479 m, Ebersberg with 462 m, Kehrenkopf with 529 m and Adelberg with 568 m ! ). In the background, I had recognize the chemical center of Ludwigshafen (two nuclear reactors ! ). And the site is too savage and cool, calm. But, unfortunately, there is too much traffic (cars and trucks, train), deep in the Queich valley, on the B10 road : what a pity ! Shit !!! But, generaly, is the Rothenfels by Wernersberg, very meritant and interesting to discover ...
