This is cool ...

I've been on Lookout Pass once while I was
working out @ Dugway in 1981-1982.

Back then, I do remember seeing wild horses
in the Onaqui Mtns. -- we were scouting for
deer at that time on a 4-wheel-drive road.

Do you think these horses could be remnants
of the original 1800's Pony Express group ??

From the looks of them, they're exceptionally well-fed. Nice picture, Judy! Looks like a great day in Tooele County !!

This was just south of Dugway. I saw a herd of 6, 5 adults and 1 baby. They all looked pleasantly plump and in really good shape. There's lots to eat, but I don't know what they drink.

To make things short, if they've been here for all these years, they must find a
reliable source of water somewhere.

Maybe they gallop out to Simpson Springs and
throw a beach party ?
