Speechless ..So, this 'Skycoaster' contraption propels the
folks out over the Gorge ?
Amazing - why didn't I think of that?
(Personal question time):
(1) Does a person take their camera with them?
(2) WHAT IF a person drops their camera ???
Awesome stuff, Kathy !!! !! !

Re: Speechless ..Yep! The process is: first they suit you up in this apron-like thing. Then you walk up a ladder where you are attached to the "sky-hook". The ladder is pulled away and the hook is yanked upward and AWAY you fly over the gorge.
No cameras go with you but someone does videotape your experience for a fee. I have my personal momento!

Re: Speechless ..I understand, but ...
How did you get the 'still' photos looking
down into the Gorge? Were those taken from
the viewpoint ??

Re: Speechless ..The still pictures were taken from spy satellites....
Actually the pictures looking down into the gorge were taken while riding the tram across or walking on the bridge.

Re: Speechless ..Incredible ...
I haven't seen a place with so many recreational opportunities for the young at heart!
(1)Skycoaster- I think I'm a bit SHY of the
skycoaster.
(2)Ariel Tram - This would be fun.
(3)The Suspension Bridge- Very historical!
(4)Rafting beneath the Bridge- Awesome!
(5)Watching the train- It BEATS watching TV!
(6)Just looking up at the clouds, and
wondering if I have to take shelter from a
storm by discovering a picnic table with a
tarp over it, and eating a soggy hot dog -
'Priceless!!!'
