So I get to the base of the Feather Pk Couloir and as the sun rises I find that I have no sunglasses. This was a fine excuse to go taking pictures, and let my friends slog up the snow packed chute. Here, Royce Peak is reflected in the frozen waters of Royce Lake. Photo by Kris Solem 8-04-06.

Nice

This shot captures the feel of a crisp, cool,Sierra morning. The kind of morning when the sun is bright and the wind flutters and then all is still for a moment or two.
