Ruper

A hot day with some interesting happenings. There was a bit of simul-climbing on P4, because my partner had previously led the climb on a 70m rope and we used my 60 (blew past the belay and had to get to another point). The rappel anchors weren’t to the East as indicated in the guide we were using, but to the West. It took a while, but we found them.

Nice February Climb  Sucess!

Climbed Touch N Go first, then made our way over to Ruper. There was a bit of a line to get on the climb, so we only ended up doing the first three pitches, then rapped off, but it was really fun.

Ruper

Had to bail after the first pitch due to clouds and wind that looked suspiciously like a big storm. I was safely in my car once the hail/rain started. Now I need to go back and finish.

Great Climb, Hot Day  Sucess!

Really fun climb, although the heat and lack of water really took it out of me. Definately an Eldo 5.8+. Although the descent sucked a little, the view from the top was well worth it.
