Amazing views worth the hike. Attached chains on some parts to make it easier to hold on to something.

Good season in Tatras
Day hike from Štrbské Pleso. Route is well marked and well maintained. It seemed very crowded even for a Sunday in October. Start at 12, down by 7pm. Very beautiful range and excellent rock quality.

Rysy - Polish side
One-day climb to Rysy from Palenica Białczańska and back. Completely clouded above 2000, though at some lucky moments, wind blew most clouds away for a few minutes.

Great mountain!!!
I climbed from Polish side across Morskie Oko and the long ridge of chains. We begun with clouds and fog but we enjoyed of a sunny day in the summit only for a little time. In the descent we had a lof of rain and we returned to parking with umbrella walking 9km of road.

From Slovakia
The day started out fine, but as I got to Chata pod Rysmi, the mountain tops around me were in clouds. I'm an optimist and it wasn't a thick layer, so, hoping for improvement, I continued anyway and in the end I got rewarded. It wasn't cold or windy on the summit, so I relaxed, ate a bit, and waited for the clouds to lift to get some views, and eventually I did.

Route Climbed : Marked Route from Morskie Oko Lake and after reaching the summit towards Popradske Pleso Lake
Cold morning and cold day. Frost had appeared on the summit despite the fact it's July and I needed to find my hat in the rucksack ! Heavily limited views on the summit which broadened while going down towards Váha Pass. Next hours of the day was full of sun. Anyway it was adventure day.

On the border
Passed on top of Mount Rysy on my way from Poland to Slovakia. Loved the metal chains on the way up. Adorable mountain culture in the Tatras: good refuges, plenty of mountain sheep dogs and donkeys.

Late season climb from Krakow. Left Krakow at 6 in the morning, back at 7 in the evening. 6 hours round trip. Due to late season and little amount of snow easy to run, no crampons needed but above Morskie Oko only 4 people seen the whole trip. Clear skies all the way!

Beautiful but busy
Excellent hike/scramble. We did it in 1 long day, the walk into the massif is long, but easy and well paved. From the lakes it is a lot of 'stairs' till you reach the final scramble. Prepare to be exhausted if you do all of it in 1 day!
Couldn't imagine a better first national highpoint. Excellent hike/scramble from Morskie Oko, just epic Polish scenery and a 'pointy' summit that makes you feel like you're 'up there'. Beautiful Tatry.
