S. Mount Hawkins

Atop South Mt. Hawkins after a very enjoyable hike from Crystal Lake. Met a group of 5 on the summit with one of them(yellow hat with red visor) being the one and only Mars Bonfire. He is, in my opinion, a hiking legend here in So Cal. He is also the man that wrote the song by Steppenwolf, Born to be Wild. Very memorable day in the San Gabriel Mountains. Apr.28, 2012.
