As we hiked back from Scenic Point following a small gathering to pay tribute to Saintgrizzly, a friend of his pointed out this dead limber pine and said it had been his (Saintgrizzly's) favorite. The peak in the background is Appistoki Peak, which is shown as a reflection in Saintgrizzly's last User Profile Image. Glacier National Park, MT-- July 2011

An amazing tree

Just saw it in person yesterday. That tree must have been ancient before giving up the ghost. It could be dead for ages too.
