From Humber Park  Sucess!

About a mile down the Willow Trail, there is an unsigned split. I took the upper trail, but the lower trail gets you closer to Sam Fink before you have to go cross country. Plenty of water at 3 stream crossings. I got water on the way back from Tahquitz Creek. Register was below the summit block. A number of cairns were found along the way, but still a lot of route finding.

Humber to Caramba + Sam Fink  Sucess!

Bagged that peak today, post fire, the trail past Willow Creek is minimal at best. The majority of the final 3.5-4ish miles were basically cross country travel, loosely following the old trail where I could. The first 1.25 miles or so from Laws Camp, is fairly hard to follow, and the final 1.25 miles to Caramba is easier to follow, still need to keep your eyes open either way. Past Caramba, I followed small deer trails for most of the time, only going straight up every so often. I didn't see a register at the summit like previous reports have said

From Humber Park  Sucess!

Great hike to work off the Thankgiving meal! Weather was superb and didn't see a soul past Saddle Junction.
