Sam Knob Panorama

A panorama from the top of Sam Knob in North Carolina. Pictured are the 9 other Southern Sixers, including, from left, Richland Balsam Mountain, Reinhart Knob, Mt. Hardy, Chestnut Bald, Black Balsam Knob, Tennant Mountain, Grassy Cove Top, Shining Rock, and Cold Mountain. Sam Knob is the 10th Souther Sixer in the Pisgah Ranger District. Since I have been to all ten, I consider Sam Knob to have the best view from the top, considering one can see 360 degrees, while being able to see Mt. Mitchell and Smoky Mountain National Park.
