Samantha3 on a class 4 section of the Northwest Ridge. Great rock, fun scrambling, and a stellar setting make this an excellent climb!

Nice Ridge

It looks like it has some great 4th class climbing.

Rob,

You can't really see the incision on the inside of the right arm. Felt OK on this climb, and great to be back in the Sierra if only for a short while....

Howas your weekend?

just went riding and hiking, nothing too exciting, but pleasant enough to be mostly in the shade during the heat of summer.

Re: Cool!

Thanks Barry! It's a very fun climb with mostly excellent rock. You can do a pretty cool linkup with the North Ridge of Conness, which I've done, but not in conjunction with N. Peak. I'd like to do both next year. The position along the Sierra crest is excellent!
