Perfect slightly overcast conditions as we continued our 9 Peaks outing.
Hit Shields, Anderson, San Bernardino East and San Bernardino in a 19.3 mile loop via Washington Monument. Great day.
Backpacked up Forsee Creek and set up camp at Trail Fork Springs. San Bernardino East Peak was the first peak we climbed on the ridge.
2' high suncups. Otherwise it was a great day.
Went up the Forsee Creek Trail and did a big loop including 5 peaks; Anderson, S.B., S.B. East, Shields and Alto Diablo. Perfect time of year for this hike with temps. in the 50s. About 22 miles total.
A botched Nine Peak Tour. Trip Report
Big loop from Forsee Creek, one of 4 peaks on the day. Kind of hazy that day.
Most the time, from Angeles Oaks up the SB Peak trail. A couple times off the trace trail leading off from Momyer.
Took in East San Bernardino and Anderson. Headlamps the whole (long) way down to Forest Falls
Great hike. Ascended Moymer Trail, hit all 9 peaks (excluding Mnt San Gorgonio and including Dobbs Peak) and descended bia Dobbs West Ridge. Check out my Trip Report.
Fun climb with San Bern. Peak as well!
Exceptional view of the southern california area peaks. Clear view of almost all of the peaks around San Gorgonio, the San Jacinto peaks, and even OC's Saddleback Mountain.
First of four that day. Interesting bump.
Great day up the divide trail, camped at Trail Fork Springs overlooking Big Bear
A 4 day excursion.
Peak #2 of 3 for the day; just a quick jaunt through the woods from SB Peak on the way to Anderson Peak. Not a spectacular summit but good views all around. Had lunch and a few laughs over ridiculous register entries.
Tagged this peak along with Anderson Peak and San Bernadino Peak during a fun 20 miler with Deb on a beautiful autumn day. Heavy smoke moving west of Banning from the Esperanza Fire.
Early Full Moon start on a beautiful day. Bagged Shields, Anderson and San Bernardino East. Didn't have the gas in the tank to get to San Bernardino. Maybe next time.
This was our 2nd out of nine during a one day Traverse. An easy ascent form San Bernardino.
