Plenty of water!
Plenty of water in the slot canyon - there were a few places my feet didn't touch the ground. Also saw a frog, lots of millipedes, and tracks from a raccoon-like animal.

Enjoyable Slots
At first I thought there would be no water this time of year. Wrong! 2 Neck deep slots and several calf and thigh deep ones. Very refreshing after a very hot hike in (91 F). Thanks Hans!

Another slot...
Surveyed the canyon from the rim for a future excursion on 30 Oct 2008. The weather was a bit cold and I wasn't prepared for wading or swimming. Although this slot is short, it does give me hope of finding other hidden slots in New Mexico. I successfully navigated this canyon on May 13, 2010. Great fun, complete with swimming!
