You can relax here, you can leave the oxygen and the Diamox at home. No need to acclimatize. These mountains have always been alluring to me, since the days of my childhood spent at my aunt's home off of Summit Road. It's the redwoods, the proximity to the Pacific. I've visited the tops of several high points here, but confess to having spent many more days of my life down slope, at that world famous beach and boardwalk.
