Hiked up from Montezuma.
Santa Fe, Sullivan, Geneva, Landslide, Pt 13214, Morgan and the little one next to it.
Sante Fe, Sullivan, Geneva, Landslide, Morgan Peak
With Sullivan, Geneva and Landslide.
Out-and-back climb of Sante Fe, Sullivan, Geneva, Landslide with Okie. I started at about 10,600.
Great hike on the Montezuma Loop however, a lot of postholing in the afternoon. Very fun trip. Solo.
The wife, pup and I from Shelf Lake. We started with Decatur and followed the Divide over to Landslide Peak. What a great Labor Day jaunt.
Nice loop with Sullivan, Geneva, and Landslide....
Did nice loop to include Landslide, Geneva, Sullivan, Santa Fe, Silver, and Revenue, which goes pretty quick from Geneva Creek drainage.
9/5/2010: With Sullivan, Geneva, back to Sullivan & Santa Fe.
5/6/2007: With Morgan Peak. Skied form the summit!
Came up from the Webster Pass Road (parked just before it crossed the Snake River), climbed Geneva, Landslide, Sullivan and Santa Fe then dropped back to the road. Second time up this peak
fine solo of santa fe on a crisp november day. the predicted storm rolled in during the last half-hour before reaching the summit cutting visibility to 100 yards.
warning: avalanches are coming! the hoard layer and hard crust are setup perfectly, all it needs is a sizable load to create a slide. this weekend's system might do that trick!
Ascended road on north side of Morgan Gulch and then ran ridge from Morgan Peak to Sante Fe to Geneva to Landslide. Somehow lost my ice axe on the way down :(
Snow covered the road the whole way up, was able to cut some of the road off by hiking up Morgan gulch (also continuous snow). Made the descent super fast, from summit to treeline in only 45 minutes! Great views from the top, still a lot of snow in the area! Saw a wet slide on a peak across the valley, be careful out there.
Great day and Great hike. Strong and cold wind above treeline. Having a cold didn't help either.
I've been over the summit several times on my mountain bike while crewing for friends in the 24 Hour mountain bike race, Montezuma's Revenge.
