Excellent page! I was wondering if anyone would get around to making more pages of MN's arrowhead. Only been there once and was amazed by its ruggedness. A welcome addition, good job!
My wife and I drove across the top of Lake Superior in June 2000 and thought it was one of the most beautiful places we had ever seen. The lake, the forests, the waterfalls - wish I could go back.
There's so much to see up that way. World class waterfalls, vast deciduous and coniferous forests, hundreds of miles of hiking trails. Do yourself a favor and go back!
Nice work. This page brings back a lot of memories. I went on a bicycling trip up the North Shore back in 83'. Besides doing a lot of pedaling, I spent many hours hiking Cascade River, Temperance River and in Gooseberry Falls. The cascades and rivers in this area make for great hiking. I really do need to get back!
It's been 20 years since I have been in this area. My wife and I are hoping a fall trip there will work out this year. Great photos and great information. Thanks!
