Sawtooth Soliloquy

Sawtooth Soliloquy

The king of the Sawtooths, also known as the highest point of Alaska's Seward Peninsula's Kigluaik Mountains, rises amid a maze of geothermal hot springs, willow thickets, fireweed blooms, louseworts, and clouds of mosquitoes just within reach of the Pilgrim River. Re: So.....

Had to wear my rain gear the following day!

The skeeters were so bad, each one knew my
name from the last time I was here in 1996!

And, to think they're attempting to "develop"
this part of Alaska for the geothermal
resources imprisoned underground ... I'm sure the willows, cottonwoods, and SKEETERS
have something to say 'bout that ..

Sorry to get political, but here's an
excellent video from the L. A. Times ..

Just needed to recharge my Karma level ..

"How in the world you gonna see?
Laughing at fools like me ..

Who on earth do you think you are?
A superstar? Well right you are ..

Well we ALL SHINE ON ..."
