ImpressionisticI haven't seen this one. Compared to the rest of his body of work, this seems more brightly colored and impressionist styled. Or is it just how it looks on the internet?

Re: ImpressionisticI hadn't seen this one either. It was apparently hanging in a chapel in Boise. Those are about as true to the real colors as I could get.

other R.A. Melander paintingsI have two R. A. Melander Oils.. One is dated 1967, and it looks very close to the one posted. The other is 1966, and has an old wooden fence on a meadown, with the sawtooths in the background.

Large R A Melander paintingI am trying to find information about a artist called R A Melander. I just picked up a very large painting of his and I would love to know more about him. The paintings frame is 10' long by 6' tall.
