I think it is great to separate the albuns by years because otherwise one album can get too big, and pictures can get lost in time...
I did myself another album 15 minutes ago thinking probably the same thing you while doing he album.

But watching from where I live, half of your US scrambling seems like crumbling actually. :-) I wonder if you could have a look at the last six posts here on page 26 and give your opinion, especially on the YDS Class 4 against 5.x problem.
I wondered if such a discussion would be brought up. It's certainly an interesting question. Often Class 4 seems indistinguishable from low fifth class.
Here's my opinion on the matter. The YDS and UIAA rating scales may give a good definition of what is what but when it comes to the actual hands-on experience it seems that ratings are largely a matter of personal opinion. When I get a rating for a climb I'm planning, I take into consideration who gave the rating and what is their experience level.
There are other factors to be considered like the presence of loose rock or a dusting of snow. Overall, I've pretty much withdrawn from the scrambling argument. I've also learned to take numerical ratings from climbers like Fred Beckey and add one.
I stumbled across this when I went looking to update my profile pic...and saw that it was in this album. Made me feel pretty good finding a few of my pics included, considering some of the incredible scrambling photos in here!
I think sometimes un-roped scramble photos are some of the most exciting shots here on Summit Post. You have certainly contributed some good ones yourself. So thank you too.
