More class 2 than 3.
Descended several times after climbing the North Couloir, in late summer / early autumn (by then it is just scree & talus). These days I usually head up to the summit and descend SW, towards Conness instead (along the approach to Conness' N ridge).
My feet were burning up!
If memory serves me, one can find solid class 3 rock all the way up this side of the mtn (keep to climber's right).
Very enjoyable climb. Car to summit 3 1/2 hours. 2 hours back to car. Perfect weather.
Got turned back the previous day on Conness so we did this one as a walk up.
