Felt like every piece of gear could hold an elephant :-) Now I'm back to the Canadian Rockies, where removable hand- and footholds galore, but there is nobody else around, fun in a different sort of way. Hope things are well with you!

Peter, a buddy of mine is heading up to Calgary in mid-to-late November (around Thanksgiving) to do some ice / mixed climbing before the avy hazard gets too high. I may join him, but am not sure yet. I sent him the URL of your SP profile, and will definitely let you know if I make it up there this season.
btw I went to Squamish BC several weeks ago. First time for me in Canada. The granite up there was fantastic ! Really enjoyed Vancouver too.
